Leather Custom Patches
genuine or vegan leather · debossed or laser etched · the hat-front standard
A debossed leather patch is what turns a blank cap into a $38 retail hat. We press your mark into genuine or vegan leather with a heated die, leaving a clean, dimensional impression that gets better looking as the leather wears in.
Leather suits marks, not murals: logos, monograms, and wordmarks with solid strokes. If your design is detailed line art, laser etching captures it more finely than the debossing die.
Deboss or laser etch
Debossing presses the design in for a tactile, classic result; it wants bold shapes. Laser etching darkens the surface instead, holding hairline detail and small text. Both age well; deboss is the one people run a thumb over.
Leathers and shapes
Rustic brown, tan, black, and a gray vegan option, cut to rectangles, rounds, or a custom die shape. The 2.5 by 1.5 inch rounded rectangle is the hat-front standard, and we keep that die ready so hat runs move fast.

Leather uses the standard patch tiers; a custom die shape adds a one-time $40 cutting die kept on file.
Common questions
Visually, barely: both deboss cleanly. Genuine develops more patina over years; vegan keeps a consistent tone and satisfies brands that need animal-free materials. Same price either way.
We supply patches ready for your hat vendor, and for orders of 50 or more we can source blank caps and deliver finished leather-patch hats as one job. Ask in the quote notes.
We offer heat-seal backing, but leather's stiffness wants stitching for anything that flexes or washes. Sew-on is what we recommend for hats, denim, and bags.
