Bulk Enamel Pins
500+ pins from $1.30 · 1,000+ from $0.89 · free proof on every run
Where the bulk price comes from
A pin run has one fixed cost, the struck steel mold, and a per-piece cost for metal, enamel fill, and plating. On 25 pins the mold dominates and you pay $4.80 each. On 1,000 pins the same mold is 2 percent of the bill and the price falls to $0.89. That is the whole mechanism; there is no coupon math on top of it.
It also means reorders are where bulk buyers win: your mold stays on file, so a second thousand costs less than the first and ships in about 8 days instead of 15.
What bulk runs get used for
Conference and festival giveaways are the biggest category, followed by employee anniversary pins, sports tournament trading pins, and artists stocking a convention season in one order. For giveaways, soft enamel keeps the budget sane. For anniversary and uniform pins, hard enamel survives daily wear.
Not sure which finish fits? The hard vs soft comparison settles it in five minutes, and reseller quantities belong on the wholesale pins page.

Bulk pin questions
At 500 pins a standard 1.25 inch soft enamel design runs $1.30 each; at 1,000 it drops to $0.89. Hard enamel adds 15 to 25 percent. Runs above 1,000 are quoted by hand and usually land another 15 to 30 percent lower.
Each design needs its own struck mold, so pricing is per design, not per total. A 1,000-pin order split across two designs prices as two 500-pin runs. Trading pin sets are the exception we quote as a bundle.
Quantities up to 2,000 ship on the standard 12 to 15 day timeline. Larger runs add roughly a week per additional 5,000 pins. Tell us your event date and we confirm feasibility before you pay anything.
Every pin arrives individually polybagged at no charge. Backing cards printed with your branding add about 20 cents a pin, and loose packing for conference handout trays is free on request.
