Waterproof is not a coating we add; it is the build. Thick vinyl carries the print, and a clear UV laminate seals it, so the finished sticker survives full submersion, dishwasher cycles, cooler lids, and three years of direct sun without edges lifting or color fading.
This is the sticker for water bottles, kayaks, job-site helmets, and anything that lives outdoors. If a sticker only ever sees a laptop lid, the same build simply lasts longer than it needs to.
The lamination difference
Unlaminated stickers fail at the ink layer: water creeps in, color lifts, edges curl white. The laminate bonds over the print edge to edge, which is why ours pass the dishwasher test that kills paper and cheap vinyl stickers in one cycle.
Finishes
Gloss laminate makes color pop and beads water visibly; matte kills glare for a softer, premium read. Both protect identically. Clear vinyl with laminate is the third option for glass and bottle applications where the surface should show through.

Common questions
Yes. The vinyl-laminate build is rated for repeated dishwasher cycles. Color stays put; the practical limit is the adhesive after hundreds of hot cycles, which is years of normal bottle life.
They peel clean off glass, metal, and hard plastic with slow, steady pressure, without leaving residue. They are not designed to reposition; once on, they stay until you decide otherwise.
The build is the same family used for boat lettering. For hull-side registration numbers and long saltwater exposure, mention it in the notes and we spec the heavier marine vinyl.
