Wood Custom Coasters
maple or walnut · laser engraved · boxed sets of 2, 4, or 6
Wood is the coaster material people keep. We laser engrave maple for a light, clean burn and walnut when the design wants contrast, and both take names, dates, logos, and fine line art without ink ever being involved.
The engraving is burned into the grain, so it cannot chip, fade, or wash off. A set from a 2019 wedding looks the same today, which is the whole argument for wood over print.
Maple or walnut
Maple engraves dark-on-light and photographs crisply, the pick for detailed logos and small lettering. Walnut engraves light-on-dark with a warmer, furniture-grade look that suits initials and simple marks. Same price either way; the proof shows your art on both if you are torn.
What engraves well
Line art, monograms, handwriting scans, and logos with solid shapes all burn beautifully. Photographs do not; wood wants lines, not gradients. If you send a photo we redraw it as line art on the free proof so you see exactly what the laser will cut.

Common questions
Yes. Every coaster is sealed after engraving, so condensation beads instead of soaking. Wipe them dry and they last years; the engraving itself is burned in and cannot wear off.
Yes, and it is our most gifted wood coaster. Photograph the handwriting in good light, and we clean and vectorize it for the proof. Grandma's recipe card in her own hand is a common Mother's Day order.
Sets of 2, 4, or 6 come boxed with a kraft band we can print with names and a date. Loose bulk packing for bars and cafes is free.
