Custom Woven Lanyards
design woven into the strap · outlasts print by years · from 50 pieces
A woven lanyard is made like a ribbon on a loom: your text and mark are the threads, not ink on top of them. Nothing can rub off, because there is nothing on top. This is the strap for staff who wear an ID every day for years.
Weaving favors bold, simple design: wordmarks, repeat logos, one or two colors on a contrasting ground. Photographic straps belong on the sublimated build instead.
Woven versus printed, honestly
Printed sublimation wins on gradients, photos, and tiny detail. Woven wins on lifespan and hand-feel, with the design as durable as the strap itself. Uniform programs and universities pick woven; event lanyards used one weekend pick print and pocket the difference.
Design rules for the loom
Two to three thread colors read cleanest, repeat logos beat one giant hit, and lettering wants 5 mm height minimum. The proof shows a loom-true simulation, thread grid and all, before production.

Common questions
Programs replace them at three to five years, usually for hardware fatigue rather than the strap. Printed straps in the same duty cycle refresh yearly.
Yes, the full hardware menu applies: breakaway clasps free, swivel hooks, badge reels, and ID holders per unit like every strap we make.
50 pieces, 10 to 14 days: loom setup is real, which is also why reorders drop to about 7 days.
