Custom Trading Pins

the louder the better · glitter, spinners, danglers · order 6 weeks before the tournament

Trading pins invert every rule on this site: bigger beats smaller, loud beats tasteful, and the add-ons are the point. At a summer tournament, kids trade pins by the hundred, and the pin with the spinner outranks the pin without one on a completely objective playground exchange rate.

Team parents: this page prices in team quantities, and yes, six weeks before the tournament is the right time to order.

The trading-value add-ons

Glitter enamel fill, spinner elements that rotate, danglers that hang beneath, sliders, blinking LED inserts, and numbered limited editions. Each adds 30 to 80 cents per pin and measurably raises trade demand. The proven build: 2 inch soft enamel, team mascot, glitter plus one mover.

Team-parent math

Standard order is 40 to 60 pins per player, so a 12-kid roster runs 500 to 700 pins. At 500 pins with glitter and a spinner, that is about $1.90 each, split across families it is coffee money, and it is also the single most remembered part of tournament week.

Common questions

40 to 60 for a multi-day tournament: enough to trade generously without rationing. Cooperstown-style week-long events run toward 75 per player, and leftover pins become next season's warm-up trades.

Six weeks out is comfortable, four is the rush edge. Trading pin season peaks May through July and mold queues are real; we confirm your date honestly before payment.

Spinners, by playground consensus, with glitter close behind. Danglers photograph best on the lanyard display. The proof prices each so the team vote is informed.
